With the lost lake trails literally passing through the back yard, and a short walk from the town center and Lost Lake we have located ourselves even better than before!
Latitude Five Zero is an intimate alpine chalet providing comfortable rooms and breath taking views of the surrounding mountains. Formerly the home of BC politician and Whistler Mayor, Ted Nebbeling the chalet has hosted famous guests including royalty.
After a great day on the trails, relax in the hot tub with views of the surrounding mountains, read a book by the wood-burning fireplace, or watch your ride on the big screen in the lounge.
Situated in the much sought after community of White Gold Estates, Latitude Five Zero is an flat 5 minute ride to the lifts while staying out of the noise and bustle of the town.
The chalet is maintained daily by our chalet host and we have our guides on hand to answer any questions you may have about everything and anything - not just the incredible riding available throughout Whistler.
The chef takes care of the daily breakfasts and the home cooked and hearty evening meals on 5 days of the week whilst making sure there are post ride snacks available whenever possible.
As with any sport, having 'all the gear' is important and being that the Latitude 50 is our rider center, it stands to reason that we have all the gear you need to fix or fettle with you bikes.
Thanks to Pedro's Tools we have a complete workshop area in the store with everything from Allen keys to Y-wrenches.
Locks are available and all racks are bolted to the floor.
We've done our best to make the bike space an interesting place to start and end your day.
The Chalet features a large social living area with plenty of comfy sofas and makes for a great place to relax and chat about your day, or to just sit back with a book and take it easy.
The summer in Whistler is superb and the home makes the most of the abundant day time sunshine and warm evenings with its large view sundeck complete with bistro tables, seating and a private 10 person hot tub out the back.
Relax with a beer and sit and watch the world go by as you ponder the riding you've done and the rides still left to do..
Breakfast and evening meals are served up in the spacious dining area that completes the open plan living area. The large table means that dinner can be as social as you like and the guides are on hand to help serve the much needed riding fuel that the chef has taken care in making.
Conversations around the dinner tables tend towards biking. There’s nothing like enjoying the post ride buzz with like minded individuals, some who have likely shared in the same exploits that day,
Our bedrooms are a mix of ensuite or shared bathroom. All rooms are twin split beds and have real alpine chalet charm. This place is pretty unique!
